About
Molly Lennon is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LABA) who has been practicing since 2010. She has over 10 years of experience in working with students, families and school administrations within a variety of settings.
With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, she attended Simmons University to pursue a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. During her studies, she worked as a 1:1 behavioral therapist to students with intensive needs at Nashoba Learning Group. After graduating, she accepted a job as BCBA with the public school district of Arlington, MA where she worked with a large population of diverse learners at the Preschool, Elementary and Middle School levels.
In addition to her work in the school district, she also developed and supervised home services with a variety of companies including Fidelity House, L.A.B.B.B. and Creative Behavioral Solutions which provided an opportunity to service more areas in the North Shore and Metro Boston areas.
Eventually, she chose to work full time for a private company where she became the Director of Training and Development in conjunction with her role as a BCBA. This responsibility allowed her to develop and provide training to not only parents/families, but other BCBAs at the company as well as direct therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Outlook
Molly has a strong understanding of working with at-risk and special education students as well as training/supervising staff. She has worked continuously with students who engage in a variety of behavioral challenges in both home and school settings. Her experience has taught her that identifying the underdeveloped skills that contribute to this behavior often requires a "fresh set of eyes".
Molly provides families and professionals with a well trained eye and an ability to look at the whole picture. She works to find behavioral interventions that are realistic and workable within the natural setting. She also works to find appropriate skills to teach the individual student so that the need to engage in challenging behavior is decreased.
